Vroom Set/OFB Walls Floors/cubodyparkaboots

Defaults for the Vroom set, OFB International set and an alteration of 2 Simsibility defaults for kids. I only put the Vroom text on the pic because I'd managed to screenshot the UI, you know.



The Vroom set has great meshes but I've only ever used one colour because the rest are hideous, imho. I made these defaults ages ago with the intention of going back to it once I'd learned how to remap because the handles on the desk cabinet are not mapped the same as the ones on the armoire but I just don't have the time to learn much of anything so I'm sticking it up as is.



The flags and the lamp still have the original Maxis chequered recolour available - I didn't alter those, I just changed the other 4. I also did the walls/floors as defaults but they're separate in case they're not needed (I didn't alter the 2 walls with the racing crowd scene). Seasons/Glamour Life might be needed for these to work properly, the textures are packed in the Glamour Life files but they're hidden from the catalogue until Seasons, I think. Some edges on the race car bed are a little grizzly because the texture is set up in such an odd way, sorry (the person who made it must be a masochist).

OFB Walls Floors



Defaults for the walls and floors to match the primary coloured windows etc found in this post and this post. The bottom of the red wall looks a little mushy if you zoom in extremely close but seeing as I resorted to importing via DDS to fix it there doesn't appear to be much else I can do to avoid that.

The tops of the metal panels were changed to look better with ceilings but I left the top of the siding alone because I don't use it indoors anyway. The siding is a slightly different grey colour than the custom one I posted in this post.

And two Simsibility defaults found here for cfbodyparkaboots and cmbodyparkaboots. I made both show up for everyone because girls got pink and boys didn't (and now I'm looking at the pics I've realised I didn't even get a shot of the pink one, duh).

I added the metal parts and buttons back to the trenchcoat and gave it some texture and changed the jeans a little. There are property sets in these defaults so the delete button will show up in game/Body Shop, don't get tempted and press that unless you really want to spend four hours reinstalling your game. Delete it from the download folder instead or hide the files in \EA GAMES\Your latest EP\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins if you don't trust yourself not to press it.

If you came here from the default database the image there says "choose one" but you can have both and they'll each be available for every kid type.

I liked the vroom set and all of HugeLunatic's add-ons but you're right, the original colors were too much! I had distant-future plans to fiddle around with yeti metals on that set but I love your new colors! And thank you for toning down the ofb walls and floors too :D

The racing defaults .... thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm a racing fan, and I like how you matched three of the colors to the flags ... well kinda .... green, red and yellow. And actually, there is a blue flag as well ... one with a yellow stripe.)

The pink set in the game was awful. Again, thanks for getting rid of it.

Yeah, they only sorta match the F1 flags, sorry, just thought those Aelia colours looked nice on it. Maybe I'll do some customs later with the stripes! You're welcome.
