Scrubs elder mesh




So, Fanseelamb posted these originally, they replace afbodyorderly and ambodyorderly with the scrubs that are present in the game files. The scrubs are a remnant of the hospital system that Chris Hatch found and brought to life at BAS, it seems at one point it was planned that babies would be born in hospital instead of in the garden with all the neighbours watching. In the post, Fanseelamb states that she does not want them replaced for elders as elders don't get this outfit but in some circumstances they do and there is a problem with that, the scrub textures still replace the elder female even although the mesh is not replaced so there is a massive gap twixt navel and thighs. I discovered this when one of my Sims aged up and flashed her muff at all the Strangetown kids getting off the school bus - hilarious, yes, but it needed fixing.

The defaults are set as Fanseelamb had them originally, there's blue and green on offer for both male and female. I tried getting it to work separately for adults and elders also but the way the texture is linked it just won't work so unfortunately you'll have to choose between adult/elder in green or adult/elder in blue. I haven't replaced teens but it seems to work fine, they still get the aqua overalls as far as I can tell. If anyone has a teen issue with it let me know and I'll replace those as well for the sake of completeness.

I don't think I've got any teens in medical to check in-game but they're showing in CAS fine. Hope they're ok!

Oh, thank you! I'm tickled to have found this, since I liked the scrubs but had a couple elders in the medical career who were wandering around in some very odd-looking scrubs. This is excellent.

I really love them but i wanna know if you can default the pink one as orderly default and the blue one as scrub default please.

These are both defaults for the orderly, the scrubs outfit is hidden in-game but it is blue already if you unhide it.

I've installed this default but in game I have the scrub texture but the overalls mesh. I don't have another default for this, so I'm a little confused as to what has gone wrong. Any ideas?

Hey, s00. Is the mesh not showing for all of the different age groups? Have you tried clearing your cache files as well?

I've only seen it on adults, both male and female. Have deleted cache files and checked for a conflicting default.

So it's just teens that aren't showing? What files did you download? There's an adult version and one with teens added, teen should have tf and tm in the file names (male and female are spearate files).

Sorry I don't think I've explained this well, I downloaded your blue scrubs defaults for both genders teen-elder but they aren't displaying correctly. I've only seen them on AF and AM but what's happening is the scrub texture is showing up but on the overall mesh, so there are huge gaps and flesh coloured bits where the texture and mesh aren't matching up. A bit like what used to happen on elders with Fanseelamb's default. Am I meant to have their default in as well as yours?

I don't have much time for sims lately due to other commitments so maybe I didn't read it too well, been playing catch up when I get spare time. Anyway, seeing as it's Saturday night and I'm half cut (yay) what better time than to check out what your issue may be. I installed BG only on an old drive and stuck in the defaults for the blue scrubs, they were the only thing in the download folder. 'Scuse the shite graphics (couldn't be arsed messing with sgr) but the result was as intended -

I put testing cheats on to get the filenames so you know I'm not winding you up, they worked fine. Are you sure you haven't got some other default in or maybe a hider or unlocker or something? If you add your download folder to the file table in SimPE (and bins folder if you use it) then run a search for bodyscrubs/bodyorderly that might give some more clues. There's got to be something about your game environment that's making this not work for you. Sorry I can't be more help. I hope you're impressed I did this on pint power. I am.
